Congratulations to David McKerrow who takes the RHASS Quaich for the Champion of Champions back to Aberdeenshire along with his Limousin heifer, Tillycairn Uptowngirl, having earlier taken the Pedigree Cattle Interbreed Championship.
J & I Wilson took the Dairy Interbreed honours again, this year with Aireburn Fortune Melissa while the Commercial Cattle Championship went to D & P Blair’s cross heifer (calf teeth), Lucky.
In the Sheep Interbreed Championship, Robert Cockburn’s Texel gimmer emerged victorious while the Supreme In-Hand Horse/Pony Championship went north again, this time to Inverness-shire, with Hunter Macdonald, for David Shand’s In-Hand Hunter Champion, the 3yr old Achilty Eclipse.
Well done to all schools that entered this year’s Scarecrow Competition – we are delighted to announce the winners:

The range of scarecrows and the thought behind the entries is fabulous, so a big well done to all those who helped make them.
Scurry winner this year was Mark Herd with his cocker spaniel; 2nd was Paul Stone with his labrador; and 3rd was Becs Jeffries, also with a cocker spaniel. Well done to all!

The winner of the Best Small Trade Stand was Loved Up from the Made in Fife Tent
While the Best Large Trade Stand trophy went to Netherton Tractors.
Congratulations to the winning trade stands this year. Stands are judged on the welcome given to the incognito judges, knowledge and enthusiasm for their products as well as the aesthetics of the stand.
