How much does it cost to get into the Show?
Admission is free for children under 16yrs of age when accompanied by an adult. In 2024, Adult tickets cost £15, inc. VAT and booking fee, if purchased online – just click on the “Tickets” button. You can buy online until 12noon on 30 April 2024. Tickets will be available to buy at the Gate on Show day, costing £20, inc. VAT, so save time and money by purchasing in advance. Is there car parking on site?
Absolutely and it’s free! We have experienced people on hand to guide you to a spot just a short walk away from the entrances. If you have a “blue badge”, please show it to our parking attendants on your way in to the field and you will be directed to disabled parking near the main entrance.
Is the Show suitable for disabled visitors?
We are delighted to welcome all visitors, but please be aware that the event takes place in fields so individuals must make their own assessment as to how easy it will be for them to navigate the Showfields, especially during wet weather when there may be some mud……. Please see our Accessibility Statement here.
If I leave the event, can I come back in?
Yes, of course. Just make sure you are wearing your wristband or have your hand stamped, or I’m afraid you’ll have to pay again.
What events does the Show have?
Have a look at the “A Day at Fife Show” page of the website – it will give you lots of useful information about what goes on during the day and where.
Can I bring my dog?
Absolutely! We love the whole family to visit including your dog. Please bear in mind though, that the show can get very busy with both people and animals – so please make sure you know your dog will be comfortable in this type of environment. Dogs must be kept on a short lead at all times within the showfields, and we kindly request that you clean up after them. Dogs should not be left in cars on hot days – bring them in with you! Why not let them have a go in the Scurry up at the Game Fair whilst you’re here or enter the Dog Show (entries taken in advance and on the day).
Are refreshments available?
An emphatic yes! We have a great range of stalls, many local, selling all manner of food, drink and snacks. Prepare to go home feeling full.
What if it rains?
We all know what the weather in Fife can be like in May….. Some of the exhibits are in tents – but the Main Ring and most of the action takes place outside, whatever the weather. Bring your jacket and a pair of wellington boots and you’ll be all set!
I’d like to come to the Show but don’t live locally – how do I get there and where could I stay?
Cupar is situated in the heart of Fife and the Show is just off the A91. There is a railway station in Cupar and buses run regularly. For accommodation, see Visit Scotland or A Stay in Fife.
